Opening the Kitchen to Everyday Living
The existing kitchen was separated from the living area by a wall that limited visibility, movement, and interaction between the two spaces. MGC Remodeling removed the dividing wall and completed the related electrical updates to create a more functional open-concept floor plan.
The redesigned kitchen features custom oak cabinetry, a central island with seating, and a dedicated range hood. Popcorn ceiling texture was removed throughout the affected area and replaced with a smooth, flat finish, helping visually connect the kitchen and living room. The finished layout gives the homeowners more room to cook, gather, and spend time together.
